Dendura Coating System

We ensure that each craftsman-made window, door or conservatory continues to perform and retain its natural beauty for many years to come, by utilising the very best in paint technology.

The use of our paints and stains provides optimum protection against the elements, giving the wood unprecedented longevity and resilience.

Three key stages in the coating process are:

  1. Application of an end grain sealer at 2 separate manufacturing stages, giving greater protection to joints.
  2. A water borne primer is applied to provide a base for subsequent mid and topcoat finishes.

Teknos
  1. 300 microns of water-based microporous topcoat is applied to each infividual component before being cured in a drying chamber.

Only when all timbers are fully coated and dry are the high security components and glazing units fitted.

This process ensures that all glazing beads and rebates are fully coated.

Ultra fine particle size increases penetration depth, ensuring outstanding adhesion to the timber and following topcoats.
